Sometimes you stand on the edge looking down wondering what could possibly be next? Just when you think you have it all figured out, when it just couldn't surprise you anymore, bam there it is.  There is this thing in life called responsibility. We live in a society that is so wonderful at pointing fingers no one knows the value of sucking it up anymore and taking responsibility for hurting someone, neglecting their care. One of my favorite "Capturing Moments" is hanging out with couples.... spending time... laughing a little while having a good time you can see what brought them together and will keep them together... It's been a while since I've visited the soul...but it's time to get back. What a year. Time really does go by fast when you are busy reaching for your goals. Appreciate every second of every day for it is a gift, something to learn from, something to tuck into your soul, a lesson to be learned, a selfish moment, an opportunity, a way to fine tune into your core... 2010 what a journey. A journey of finding my health, my wellness, my heart, my passion, my never ending drive. Being a strong person.. it's in my nature, but in life it is so easy to reach levels and understand the purpose of so much when you have the right people by your side. Ever felt like your heart was going to explode out of your chest even on the toughest of days? Ever felt that heat in your stomach? A desire that no matter how much you cuddle, crave, feed it, you can't inhale it enough? As time goes by it usually melts... comfort settles, but when the right powers, people, situations come in, they don't fade, it just gets stronger, better, more powerful, and words just don't seem to do it justice. Well, who would have thought that yes, it can all happen at once. Who would have thought those opportunities that you have endlessly worked towards would come knocking at your door, you were always asking for it right? Well, now what? I mean, it all was planned out perfectly in your head, planner, but reality & the time is now. To what do we usually react what we 'assume' (not wise) what we 'expect '(ooh get ready for let downs) but here we go.. THE UNEXPECTED.. there is no way that you can preview everything you have imagined in your life all creeping in at once, is there? No :) Your health, your passions, your goals, all the opportunities present themselves PUM... just like that. Your heart/soul, well, it's beside it self dancing wildly, screaming AAAoooo! Your brain is telling you: o.k. here/now is where the work ethic and intelligence are in their greatest demand. You have to learn how to delegate your energy, time, projects, life... too much into one area ...

Bulletproof... this time honey.... ♥♫♥ Today was a triple digit day.. a day to reflect... take the little things and appreciate them.... you are living in times that will not repeat, having moments that you couldn't wish for or fathomed that would come across your path, (told you it was going to get bumpy), opportunities that you invite follow through, or shut the door and say "NEXT" Take a step back... I will BLOG tomorrow off some music that inspired me tonight.... sometimes we have to be patient for the things that we want so when we truly get them, TRULY, we can appreciate it, savor it, and make it last. Nothing like having someone say something to you to make you realize that not even the best intentions can break through a narcissistic personality. Is self absorption the new IN? It really is one of those breaking points... it's why photography is so admired. Sometimes if you hear the noise, the sound, or words come out of this amazing shot.. it could damage it! No, you don't think I really believe that do you? The only thing that can damage are the words you choose to say, how you choose to say them, and did you connect your brain to your audio skills before you opened your mouth? Probably not. Photography is beautiful. If done right it takes you to moments... moments that you keep (like the ones you keep in your heart/soul) and they truly are yours. You not only view it, you see yourself in it, feel it, hear it... Now I'm getting off the point...squirrel.... I've said it so many times.. but let's spin the record ONE MORE TIME. What a year... getting settled... taking a good look around... what can you do? Observe. I have always had a passion for observing the atmosphere, life, I take an active role but it's good to sit back and watch carefully. Sometimes you have to take a step back and take a good look around at the interactions. Some are direct, close to perfect, others are this constant game that you wonder what are your intentions? So what did I do? I picked up the camera.. a passion I've had for a a very long time. The result, moments... people... events... why so many pictures? It gives you a chance to take a step back and look at what matters and what doesn't. It helps understand your surroundings when you are & are not in the moment. It helps make observations of who has the actual creases in the smiles & who is just playing possum in your space. There is a lot of chasing going on in South Florida. Oh yes it's true. Reality. We all know the answers and regardless that inner voice is screaming we like to test out what we plan on the mass opinions. You don't care what other people think? Fine. Unfortunately to make it anywhere, unless your pockets are so deep you never have to worry, others opinions can determine what is in store for your future. Happiness. Yes we all know the fairy-tale answer to it, and no, it's not really difficult, BUT not everyone wants to invest time, much less energy into life lately. This past week. I had an opportunity, to really get things going on the projects that matter to me the most. I had everything in order, I networked my tail off, and busted every single minute of my free time investing that this would be a big production. Unfortunately for me, the leader of this particular event had things fall through. Yes I'm blessed to be surrounded by understanding people, but this messed with my credibility. What does it take? Really what do you want? I know that we all deal with so many issues, and as a reminder I have always said one persons severity doesn't take away from what might be an even bigger deal to someone else. Let me start out by saying maybe it is because you find out who you are (You have no constant buffers to deter you from that) who your friends are....maybe because you realize who is one your side. I don't mean who will listen to your whining over and over, and all the stuff you need to settle in your life but who will be there to pick you up when times are so tough, ANYONE would know that a reach out hand would do wonders. I mean really what is it? Is it pride. Do we all have to be so tough? How do we keep our chins up when all the energy in the world keeps saying no? I get asked that question every day, and I guess people don't realize for every "no" there is a " Y E S" . Most of us have reached that point in our lives where we know we are not scared to put the work into something, but unfortunately it is difficult to find the people that will notice and compensate you. Walk a mile in my shoes....I heard that new song the other day and it made me think.... Who said that your problems are worse than theirs or vice versa? I have never believed no matter what I'm going through that my roadblocks are more important than those of others. I do believe and have learned recently that when something comes up deal with it to the best of your ability and move ahead, because as I've been told, no one wants to hear you whine over and over. Situations affect us all in very different ways. What is on the top of one persons list might be on the bottom of another list, and what is that last thought of one person might be the top priority of another. Every day we pray, wish, hope that we can reach the goal that we have set out for ourselves. Some things surprise us, some situations take us by surprise, and some moments take our breath away so much that it inspires us to strive for more. How do you handle overwhelmed? If you are happy are you allowed to go through the emotion of overwhelmed? What if the business that you have worked for is finally starting to pay off? What if the impossible miracle clicked and has begun? Finally back home after seven years. I can't believe that I get to be around my family. I wake up and look around, and just can not believe how lucky I am. With all that luck comes the bitter sweet. I miss my extended family of friends. The support I have received, love, fun, experiences, it has been priceless, and has helped me become the person I am today. Florida is my home. Scott, and all of you are also a part of my home.
