Roots

The people who made you...thank them....thank them for all the opportunities they have given you...whether you see it, or not...the major one is you are here because of them....The next step is figuring out what to do with all the opportunities in life. See, there is this thing we all forget about free will, choices...What are you going to do with those? We will encounter so many things in life...and when you feel like there is nothing ...you'll see, something or someone will surprise you.

I had such a wonderful evening today. I met up with a friend that came by to check on me...in the process she brought a card from a past co-worker. What is the story behind the card...well as most of you know I was in Boston visiting my aunt I had not seen in 20 years...and I get this call. Cat ...I need a reference, can this company call you...my deadline is today...to which I replied...of course. I spoke to the company frankly about what an asset it would be for them to have this woman join their team...didn't think again about it. This woman sent a thank you card with a dinner gift certificate...and I quote " Thank You. You have helped me more than I can say. Cathy I can't thank you enough for speaking to the employment agency on my behalf...had you and ****not given me great references, I would not have gotten the job. So please take this small token & go have a few beers on me. Thanks Again" It's the little things in life that make all the difference in the world.

Take your foundation...the one that created you....Create something wonderful with it...take all the passion in your soul, and work it. Do something...don't just sit in a routine that you can close your eyes and just see your life passing you by...instead do something that fulfills you...and I bet it will fulfill others... On that note...if you don't give me feedback on the entries on this site (I appreciate them on my space & e-mail, but fill out comment here please)..then how am I suppose to give you more?!

Goodnight my Bloggers.

Fragile

Fragile. Every day it is a challenge to stay positive. You wake up, you tell yourself all of these wonderful affirmations, you promise no matter what, P O S I T I V E. What if within all of this positivity you realize fate, time, it has all come to a moment, when that positive side, that strength...well you hit a bit of a break down? It's not o.k. right? Get over it, stop feeling sorry for yourself, everyone goes through worse...well you know what? What ever we all go through this is not a competition, and we are all built different. I think the main point MOST of us strive towards is to love, be good, kind, work hard, so we can play hard. Remember WORK TO LIVE, not LIVE TO WORK. Balance is the trick. The YING/YANG I have always told people on a bad day, a day they cry or just need to let loose, it's o.k. We are human and every once in a while you just have to cry. It's o.k. to feel overwhelmed? 7 years to the day I moved to this state, is 7 years to the date I'm abou...

End Scene

Sometimes you stand on the edge looking down wondering what could possibly be next? Just when you think you have it all figured out, when it just couldn't surprise you anymore, bam there it is.  There is this thing in life called responsibility. We live in a society that is so wonderful at pointing fingers no one knows the value of sucking it up anymore and taking responsibility for hurting someone, neglecting their care. Money can buy you things, but it can not buy you health nor happiness.  Money can buy you the fancier brand, but it can not buy you class.  In your quiet moments, what do you think about?  How far you’ve come, or how far you have to go?  Your strengths, or your weaknesses?  The best that might happen, or the worst that might come to be?  In your quiet moments, pay attention to your thoughts.  Because maybe, just maybe, the only thing that needs to shift in order for you to experience more happiness, more love, and more vita...

Amen Sista!

No kidding. It truly is amazing. The politics of certain elements needed to get something approved. Sometimes I think companies are wanting trouble. I mean really. If I were to follow...lets say a process to a certain company to get something approved, and they were trying to categorize it the wrong way to avoid payment. Don't they realize that there is still a trail of paperwork for the person following a correct process, to achieve the best results to complete that particular account/claim? Don't they want you to better the situation to resolve the matter? Do you want to spend more money trying to get out of something, than finding the quickest resolution and paying a much smaller price? I THINK NOT!!! O.K. I promised about relationships. Oh my young grasshoppers it has been fun listening. In relationships of ANY KIND...it will all depend. Stand on your ground, but you can not enjoy life if you have everything in a "this is how it's going to be". Haven'...
