What a day. I guess being bilingual, having a huge heart , having passion, and choice of words has advantages, and disadvantages. It sometimes is a disadvantage depending what language you choose to express what needs to be said...when I speak English, I'm thinking Spanish, and when I speak Spanish, I'm thinking in English. I've been told that I'm one of the most direct people some have met, that I leave no stone unturned in communication, yet ...sometimes I wonder what people have taken away from the conversation? It also seems more difficult to express on a post, e-mail, where you are unable to hear the tone the message delivers. There are three sides to everyone. The positive, the one we all try to stay in, the one that motivates us, the one that propels us forward in all of our endeavors. The second side...the business side. The side that propels us to look, act, fit, talk, push, strive, and figure out how to get a product/point/resolution to whatever it is we are trying to achieve. Finally the side that has had it. The side I call " No Mas" That is the side that breaks all the etiquette, buffering, and worries for the other end....is this really the side we all must use most of the time? Have we really reached a society where people question intentions? I'm told Cathy you don't have to explain yourself, why? Well maybe because we have all be done over (for a better choice of words) so many times that I feel sometimes people really do doubt when someone helps, reaches out, or just does something, that they are out to do you over. I live by the mo do, as long as your intentions are good, doesn't mean they will always work out that way, but as long as you mind, heart, soul, body is in the right place, things will pan out and you can sleep at night...look at your reflection in the morning. You can still look out for your self, just remember to not be so selfish, there is a difference, a huge difference. Maybe if we all took a little time to think about that...all these depressions, illnesses, and lack of communication wouldn't be such a large part of our world.
